Well its Early January 2011 and I am happy to say 2010 is over and now to look forward to 2011.
Already its been a busy time here in my Castle, and to be honest its about time a few changes were made.
I am patiently waiting for craetive inspiration to come and knock me over the head, but have realised thanks to 3 months of doing nothing that it dont work like that!So, my first 'change" of attitude to this year will be "go find it for yourself".Its a simple honest and straightforward approach, to getting done the deeds you put off.
And as I cant stand the "keep calm and carry on" overhype thats being brandished around like a new religion, its as good as it gets.
Yes this year I am going to be far more active, in my creative life at least ( thats about 80% of my life in whole) and run the belly off my flatulent -sluggish -crap indulgent -creative self with gusto.No more sitting on facebook hoping for divine inspiration from family and friends chit chat, no more sitting on the couch with 3 hotwater bottles and a bottle of wine watching re-runs of awful films that I missed for good reason in the 80s and 90s,no!
I am going to excercise my talents in all things creative, starting this week with a right royal attempt at blockprinting my own greetings cards, as soon as I get my supplies (which by the way I have yet to order)
and then plan my Valentines Jewellery and get it made!
I have the will now to find a way!
All as soon as I get direction and inspiration from something someone or somewhere.......all idea donations gratefully recieved.
You can do it your highness. Funny that you say you hate the "Keep calm and carry on" motto, as I find it annoying myself. Calmness is far from my nature, and after countless attempts to include it, I have finally admitted that I am who I am, and I need to be proud and to things my way and not others. I say...lets push each other to be all we can and love ourselves for who we are. I'm very interested to see the greeting cards you come up with, and hope to see some on here very shortly. I need off my rump too, so I beg you to give this loyal subject of yours a good royal kick up her behind and get me going as well. 2011 will be a good year for us...LETS DO IT!
